Tuition, subsidies, enrolment
Invoices on the 1st, online payment, CCOF reporting export, inquiries, tours and the waitlist.
Staff files and timecards
Certificates with expiry dates, timecards for payroll, and cover when someone calls in sick.
The parent app
Daily reports and photos, messages with the room, incident reports to sign, and tuition receipts. Free for families.
Safety, in the building and in the records
A licensed centre answers for where every child is, who takes them home, and who can see their information.
In the building
- Sign-in with a family PIN.Parents check children in and out at the front-door kiosk with a four-digit code.
- Pickups checked against the list. Each child's authorized pickups are one tap away on the attendance screen, kept current by parents.
- Allergies where staff look.A child's allergies sit beside their pickups on the attendance screen and on their profile.
- No one goes unnoticed.A child who's usually in by now, with no absence reported, is the first thing in your brief.
- Incidents handled properly.Parents are told and sign the report. Reportable incidents are flagged, and you record when you told the Medical Health Officer.
- Staff checks that don't lapse.Criminal record checks, ECE certificates, and First Aid are tracked by expiry date.
With their information
- Each centre sees only its own children. Parents see only their own. The database enforces it, not just the screens.
- Photos stay private. Children's photos are stored privately and shown through links that expire after an hour.
- Nothing is sent without you. The agent drafts. Nothing goes to a parent, an educator, or a funder until you approve it.
- Encrypted, and never sold. Encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in the United States (Oregon) with Supabase.
- Deleted when you ask. Leave, or ask us to delete your centre's data, and we do.
What it costs
Priced by the number of children enrolled at your centre, with every feature included.
A 50-child centre pays $90 a month. That's 30 children after the first 20, at $3 each.
Month to month, with no setup fee and no contract. Prices in Canadian dollars, before tax.
Your first 20 enrolled children are free, and a centre never pays more than $200 a month. Every feature is included: the morning brief, ratios, compliance, billing, and the parent app.
Families pay online and the money goes straight to your centre's own account. DayQuest adds nothing to Stripe's fee.
Charged only when the shift is worked, so nothing if nobody takes it. The educator stays your employee.
For families
If your centre uses DayQuest, the parent app is free: daily reports and photos, messages with your child's room, incident reports and tuition receipts in one place.

Questions directors ask
- What works today, and what's early access?
- The morning brief and everything in the floor plan work today. Having the agent draft the follow-up (the shift offer, the reminder, the reply) is in early access with our first Metro Vancouver centres.
- Does the agent send anything without asking me?
- No. It drafts, and you approve. Nothing goes to a parent, an educator, or a funder until you say so.
- Can I bring my data from my current software?
- Yes. Export a spreadsheet of your children, staff, classrooms, or waitlist and upload it. DayQuest matches the columns for you.
- Who can see a child's information?
- Staff at that child's centre, and the parents or guardians linked to the child. Each centre sees only its own records, and the database enforces it.
- Where is our data stored?
- In the United States (Oregon), with Supabase, encrypted in transit and at rest. The privacy policy lists every company that handles data for us.
- Is there a contract?
- No. DayQuest is month to month, with no setup fee, and you can stop at any time.
- Where does DayQuest work?
- Metro Vancouver for now. If your centre is elsewhere in BC, get in touch and we'll let you know when we get close.
